Origine del nome
“Good blood does not lie!” and in this case, the blood is Cioncolo. Cioncolino was the nickname given in the village to my Dad, who was also fond of good wine, but unlike Cioncolo he preferred vintage wines and did not disdain white wines, especially in summer. He too was a great bricklayer – he had followed in and, I would say, refined his father’s footsteps. A strong, generous and honest man, a lover of simple traditional Tuscan cuisine, a true point of reference for my growth. I carry with me so much of him, of his teachings and his practical and simple sense in doing things. To my Dad, I dedicate the vintage wine of Terra Toscana, the Chianti Classico that is drunk every day with real pleasure, accompanied by the classic dishes of the territory, with simplicity and respect for Tuscan traditions.
