Ribollita is a typical country dish of the Tuscan gastronomic tradition. A delicacy much appreciated by Tuscans but also much sought after in other regions. When the jar is opened, it releases a very pleasant and typical aroma of this historic country dish, made mainly from stale bread, beans and black cabbage. It is highly appreciated by consumers who love vegetarian products and who are looking for a ‘Ribollita made at home’ as our grandmothers used to make it. It can be eaten as a single dish or as an ‘antipasto’ if served in small portions and always accompanied by a drop of extra virgin olive oil. It is also excellent with a clove of fresh onion.
